Since childhood, Samtubia and Samgoma Edwards, also known as The Edwards Bros, have been captivated by the art of visual storytelling. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, the brothers gained widespread attention through their online music video series, "The Young Hov Project." Based on tracks from Jay-Z's Black Album, the series featured Samgoma as a young Jay-Z, earning praise from both Jay-Z and renowned video director Chris Robinson, who cast Samgoma in Jay-Z’s official "Roc Boys" music video. This breakout project highlighted their innovative filmmaking style, which soon caught the eye of the industry.

Their viral success continued with the creation of a commercial for Nike's limited edition Air Yeezy sneakers, which received a cosign from Kanye West himself. From that moment on, the Edwards Bros have consistently pushed boundaries, creating groundbreaking videos and building their brand.

In 2016, the Edwards Bros were honored with the LucasFilm Filmmaker Select Award for their short film TK-436: A Stormtrooper Story, a gritty action film focused on the experience of an Imperial Stormtrooper. The award was presented by John Knoll, Chief Officer of Industrial Light and Magic and Executive Producer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Building on the success of this project, they are now represented by Paradigm Talent Agency and are developing their first feature film. Their work has been featured in prominent outlets such as The New York Times, Gizmodo, XXL Magazine, Medium, and Nerdist.
